The Nano will soon be made available with a diesel engine option. The engine expected to power the diesel Nano is a 700cc 2-cylinder DICOR unit and is more or less the same 1.4 lt DICOR engine that powers the current Indica e-V2 minus 2 cylinders. Honeywell, a Minneapolis based company has developed the world's smallest turbo system for the Nano and Bosch will fit the world's smallest Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDI) system to it. The words in concern are 'world's smallest' but for Tata it means 'large' sales figures and well for us it could only mean the 'cheapest to own and run diesel car in the world'.
PRICE IN INDIA Rs 1.75 L - 2.25 L
this will be available on 1st of december
